Scholarships

Sts. Peter & Paul is an EdChoice Expansion School and a provider of the Jon Peterson Scholarship for special needs.  These scholarships are offered to qualifying families and help with tuition costs.

EdChoice Expansion Scholarship

The EdChoice Expansion Scholarship is available to families whose incomes fall below 200% of the poverty level. Families who meet this income requirement may apply for any children grades K-6 in their household.

To apply, students must first be accepted to Sts. Peter & Paul School.

After acceptance, parents/guardians will complete an EdChoice application, provide the child's birth certificate, proof of income (four pay stubs or W-2s from the previous year) and proof of residence. Once the state awards the scholarships, checks will be sent throughout the school year to the school in the parents' name.  Parents must sign the checks and turn over to the school for tuition.

Families whose tuition is higher than the allotted scholarship may apply for additional tuition assistance; however, in the case of the Expansion scholarships, families are not responsible for the difference between the scholarship and the tuition balance, but will be asked to provide additional volunteer hours to help out at school.

Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship

The Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program is designed to allow students who require specially designed instruction to attend private schools. In the past, it has been difficult for special needs students to attend private schools because of the lack of funding for special services.  This scholarship provides funding needed to pay for speech/language services, autism services, intervention, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and social/emotional services.  Aide services may also be provided. In most cases, this scholarship may be utilized for tuition, as well.

To apply, students must first be accepted to Sts. Peter & Paul School.

After acceptance, parents/guardians will complete a Jon Peterson Scholarship application, provide the child's birth certificate, ETR, IEP, and proof of residence. Once the state awards the scholarships, the school will be responsible for determining the cost of the services provided and if any of the scholarship may be applied to tuition. The school will bill the state directly for all services.
