Sts. Peter and Paul School Library

Sts. Peter and Paul's library was developed under the direction of the Order of Sisters who started Sts. Peter and Paul School. When the Sisters placed a library in the school, they made sure that all the classics in literature were available. As a complete library we have sections for Fiction, Non-Fiction, Biography, Easy Readers, Reference, and Story Collections.

Sts. Peter and Paul students have a full library available that is the rival of any library in the public elementary schools. The students visit the library every Tuesday to check out books for use at home or to supplement their reading in school. The library is accessible to teachers and students through the rest of the school week as well, and is available online.

In an effort to update and keep the reading material current we have brought in more than 3000 new books to the library through the profits from our Scholastic Book fairs, grants, and local area sponsors.  As a function of the library and to help promote reading at home Sts. Peter & Paul holds at least two book fairs a year.

With our new automated library system, students are able to search the Sts. Peter and paul School Library from home or from the classroom. To visit our online library,

Media Center Project

The Sts. Peter and Paul Library Renovation Project is complete! Our vision to create a library/media center where technology enhances the love of reading and learning has surpassed our expectations. With the addition of computer software to replace the manual card catalog system, new laptops, tables and chairs, library shelving and the addition of 4 Kindles and over 3000 books, the Sts. Peter and Paul School Media Center is now open for business. Not only does the new software assist students in tracking book titles, it also allows them to experience new technology when performing research. Updating the electronic learning media, e-books and audio books helps to attract and engage more students, providing a positive learning experience on a broader scale. Additionally, the creation of the "Community Connection Corner" has added family-friendly activities to engage adults and children of all ages in our community.
