Tuition is based on the following criteria:
Participating Family In order for a family to acknowledged by the parish as a "participating member," it is necessary that they: 1. Are registered in the parish. 2. Are recognized as a family participating in the sacramental life of the parish. 3. Contribute time and talent to the ministries of the parish. 4. In agreement with the pastor, they regularly contribute an appropriate portion of their annual income to the financial support of the parish.
Parent of new students who are claiming participation status who have not been baptized in this parish must bring a copy of the baptismal certificate or arrange to have one sent from their old parish. If students are not baptized, arrangements should be made to have this done. Al least one parent/guardian must be Catholic to claim participation status. Participation in mass will be checked quarterly to determine if there should be a change in status.
Non-Participating Family Any family not meeting criteria in the above category is considered "non-participating."
Tuition category status may be changed throughout the year by determination and/or approval of the Pastor.
Other Parishes will pay an agreed upon subsidy to Sts. Peter and Paul Parish for their students attending. If the subsidy is not paid by the Parish, the family is responsible for the subsidy.
Financial Assistance
Saints Peter and Paul is committed to working with families to help provide an affordable education for their children. In order to be considered for financial aid through Sts. Peter and Paul School, each family must complete a financial aid form. To obtain a financial aid form, please visit the office.
Financial aid may be obtained through Diocesan sources, as well. To apply for financial aid through the diocese, each family must apply through the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, which provides a confidential and objective financial analysis in determining a family's ability to pay for Catholic Education. Information from FACTS provides the pastor with an assessment of need and ability to pay.
The deadline for FACTS applications for families with elementary-school children is March 15.
