Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School recognizes its responsibility for the provision of appropriate instructional adaptations and services for students with exceptional abilities. These goals will be fulfilled in the 2017-18 school year and beyond through the PLUS (Purposeful Learning Utilizing Strengths) Program.
The PLUS Program is intended to create an environment in which deliberate efforts are made to recognize students’ emerging strengths, talents, and interests and then nurture them through appropriate and challenging educational experiences. Identified learners will be stimulated beyond the foundations already created in the regular classroom setting.
Students in kindergarten through 4th grade will be exposed to developmental-age appropriate instruction that leads to higher level thinking experiences that will maximize their learning potential.
Great school. Great staff & teachers. My kids love this school.
My daughter is about to finish up her first year in preschool and we could not have been happier with the choice we made to send her to Sts. Peter and Paul. She has learned so much both spiritually and academically and we can not wait to see what next year has in store. Thank you Mrs. Kirby, Mrs. Grey and all of the staff.
“I must take time out to express my sincere gratitude to each one of you for enhancing the life of our son, Aidan, during these past nine years. Academically, his mind has been challenged and his education is well-rounded. We love the small school atmosphere and all the extracurricular activities, including drama, choir, band, Math Counts and Power of the Pen.”Jenny Massie
“This school is the most enthusiastic and most educational school I know. My student is a sixth grader and is in love with it!”Amy Williams
“Mrs. Apsley is the greatest! Our daughter loved being her student for the last two years and now Mrs. Apsley is our son’s teacher. The transition to third grade is a big change and still Harley comes home saying that he likes his teacher. He talks about what happens in class, knows a lot of the material, and is able to tell me what method was used by the teacher to explain the work he has done or needs to complete. Mrs. Apsley pays attention to each child, no matter how many students are in her class. She is consistent in her teaching and caring to the students. I hear she is funny too! “Rudina Woltz
